Super fast sprouts!

Wow! I sowed these seeds on August 19th at 9pm and I found these sprouts emerging today august 21 at 7pm.
So which seeds made it in under two days?

Okra, the fuzzy sprout in the top right in the image above, which usually takes 21 days to germinate!! Rocca which takes an average 6 days! and Alfalfa sprouts which usually take about 5 days!
I think its the combination of a very good starting mix, moisture, light, and warmth that helped germinate these seeds so fast!
It’s really exciting seeing these seeds come to life and in crazy germinating speeds like this.

  1. I LOVE ur blog! 9ara7a fekra 7elwa wayed! allah ewafgech dear.. i have a question: we planted grapes… bs the leaves are dying .. is it just a temporarily thing or what should i do? any advice

    • Thank you so much for your comment :)! Is it growing in the ground or in a container? also grape plants need rich soil for their very large and deep root system, I highly suggest you make compost., and give the roots lots of room. Do the plants have something to grow on? like a trellis?
Is the leaf drop just yellow leaves dropping or are there spots, If its just dried up yellow leaves, it must be the direct sun. The hot season is almost over, and I’m sure your plants will recover. Just give them lots of room for their roots, a nice humid surrounding, good compost, and something to climb on. Inshalla you’ll enjoy your grapes before you know it. 🙂
